About Jesus — and how you can be saved
We believe the Bible teaches that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. This page explains who Jesus is, why we need salvation, and how you can receive Him today.
Who is Jesus?
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God—fully God and fully man—who came to earth, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again the third day. He is the only way to the Father.
(You can replace the image with a photograph of your church, a cross, baptism, or a simple abstract.)
Why do we need salvation?
God created you and loves you
God desires a relationship with you. He created you on purpose and for a purpose.
All have sinned
Sin separates us from a holy God. We cannot save ourselves by good works.
Jesus paid it all
Jesus died in our place and rose again, offering forgiveness and new life.
Turn and trust Christ
Salvation is a gift received by repentance and faith—not by works, religion, or ritual.
How to be saved
God invites you to respond to the gospel. Here is what the Bible says:
Admit your need
Recognize that you are a sinner who needs a Savior.
Believe on Jesus
Trust that Jesus died and rose again for you.
Call upon Him
Confess with your mouth and receive Him by faith.
A sample prayer
A prayer does not save by itself—Jesus saves. But you can express your faith in Him with words like these:
If you have questions, we would love to talk with you.
Assurance from Scripture
After salvation: next steps
Following Jesus is a lifelong journey. We’d be honored to help you grow.
- Baptism — publicly identify with Christ and His church. (Acts 2:41)
- Bible — read and obey God’s Word. (1 Peter 2:2)
- Belong — connect to a Bible-believing church family. (Hebrews 10:25)
- Begin serving — grow by using your gifts. (Ephesians 4:12)
Questions people ask
Isn’t being a good person enough?
No one can reach God’s standard by good works. Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ alone. (Ephesians 2:8–9)
Can I know for sure I’m saved?
Yes. God’s promise is clear: those who believe in the Son have everlasting life. (John 6:47; 1 John 5:12–13)
What if I still have doubts or questions?
